Congratulations to PCFD Active member,Luis Marino,who ran successfully for the Village of Port Chester Board of Trustee's,during the recent Village elections,held June 15. For those that may not know,Luis,is a very active member of Mellor Engine & Hose Co # 3,Past-Captain,Safety Officer, committee member of this website,and very active in all Department activities. Luis made history as the first Hispanic,elected to the Village Board of Trustee's. A standing room only crowd was on hand for the swearing in of the Trustee's on July 9,as well as a large contingent of media to document this historic event. Mr.Marino,keeping it in the PCFD family had Putnam's,Frank Cervinka, Esquire,give the oath of office,and conduct the swearing in... Many FD member's were in attendance to show their support to Luis.We wish to congratulate Luis on his accomplishment, and wish him success in this endeavor.
